Responsible Gambling

Rajacuan believes that gambling should be entertaining — not stressful, harmful, or compulsive. This page explains the tools available to help you stay in control, the warning signs to watch for, where to get support, and how our 21+ policy protects younger Malaysians from harm.

🔞 Rajacuan is strictly for players aged 21 and above. Gambling involves financial risk. Play within your means.

Gambling Is Entertainment, Not a Solution

At Rajacuan, we are direct about this: gambling is a form of entertainment that carries real financial risk. It is not a reliable way to make money, solve financial problems, or recover from previous losses. Most sessions end with the house having a statistical edge — and understanding that reality is the foundation of responsible gambling.

For the vast majority of players across Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru, and Shah Alam who enjoy a weekly flutter on EPL or a few rounds of baccarat, gambling stays exactly where it should be — as an enjoyable pastime that fits comfortably within their budget. Rajacuan wants to keep it that way for every player on our platform.

When gambling shifts from entertainment to something that causes stress, financial difficulty, or relationship strain, it becomes a problem. Rajacuan takes this seriously — not because regulators require it, but because a player who is harmed is not a player we want. We have built every self-help tool described on this page because we believe our platform should make responsible choices easy, not difficult.

If you have any concern about your gambling behaviour — even a mild one — we encourage you to read this page in full and make use of the tools available to you. Setting a deposit limit takes under a minute. Using it can make a meaningful difference to how gambling fits into your life.

🔞
Strictly 21 and Above

Rajacuan enforces an absolute minimum age of 21 years for all account holders. Age verification is conducted as part of mandatory KYC review on every account. Accounts found to belong to under-age individuals are closed immediately and all activity is reversed.

If you suspect a minor has registered using false information, please contact our support team immediately at [email protected] (plain text only).

Gambling Should Feel Good
If placing a bet feels like a relief from stress, a necessity rather than a choice, or something you are hiding from people close to you — those are signs worth paying attention to. Rajacuan's tools are there for you, and our support team will never judge you for using them.

Self-Help Tools Available on Rajacuan

All five tools below are available in your account dashboard at no cost. You do not need to justify using them. They are there for you to use whenever you choose.

01
Deposit Limits
Set a cap on the total amount you can deposit into your Rajacuan account per day, week, or month. Once your limit is reached, no further deposits will be accepted until the period resets. Reducing your deposit limit takes effect immediately. Increasing it requires a 24-hour cooling period before it applies — giving you time to reconsider.
02
Loss Limits
Define the maximum net loss you can sustain in a given period — daily, weekly, or monthly. When your net loss reaches the limit you set, your account is automatically restricted from further wagering until the period ends. This tool works independently of deposit limits and is designed specifically for loss-prevention.
03
Session Time Alerts
It is easy to lose track of time while betting live football or playing baccarat. Set a session time alert and Rajacuan will display a prominent on-screen notification once you have been active for the duration you specified — reminding you to take a break, review your balance, and decide consciously whether to continue.
04
Cooling-Off Period (Temporary Break)
Choose to suspend your account for a defined period — from 24 hours up to 30 days — if you feel you need a break from gambling. During a cooling-off period, your account is inaccessible for wagering, and Rajacuan will not send you any promotional communications. Your balance is preserved and accessible again once the period ends. To activate, visit the Responsible Gambling section in your account settings.
05
Self-Exclusion (Permanent)
If you need to stop gambling entirely for an extended period or permanently, self-exclusion is the most powerful tool available. Once activated, your Rajacuan account is closed, your access is blocked, and you will be removed from all marketing lists. Rajacuan will honour your self-exclusion decision and will not encourage you to return. Any remaining real-money balance (excluding un-wagered bonus funds) will be returned to you following KYC completion. To self-exclude, contact our support team directly.
How to access these tools: Log in to your Rajacuan account → navigate to Account Settings → select Responsible Gambling. All tools are available without charge or condition. If you are unable to access your settings, contact our 24/7 support team via live chat or email at [email protected] and a member of the team will assist you immediately.

Six Principles of Responsible Gambling

Keep these principles in mind every time you play on Rajacuan — they are the foundation of a sustainable, enjoyable betting experience.

Set a Budget Before You Play
Decide how much you are comfortable spending before you log in — not after a few losses. Your gambling budget should come entirely from discretionary income, never from money earmarked for rent, food, utilities, or savings. In Malaysia, a practical approach is to treat your gambling budget like a night out: once it is gone, it is gone.
Set Time Limits Too
Money limits alone are not always enough. Decide in advance how long you will play in a single session — and stick to it. Long sessions increase the statistical likelihood of losses and impair the quality of decisions. Use Rajacuan's session time alert feature to keep sessions bounded.
Never Chase Losses
Chasing losses — increasing bet sizes or depositing more to recover what you have lost — is one of the most common and damaging gambling behaviours. Losses are part of gambling; they are not debts to be recovered. If you find yourself depositing specifically to chase a previous loss, stop and use a cooling-off period.
Gamble for Entertainment Only
Gambling should be enjoyable — a bit of excitement when watching Liga Super Malaysia or EPL, or a relaxed session of live baccarat. The moment it feels like work, a necessity, or an escape from another problem, it has crossed a line. If it stops being fun, stop playing.
Do Not Play Under the Influence
Alcohol, substances, or extreme emotional states — including anger, grief, or anxiety — significantly impair gambling judgement. Decisions made under these conditions are rarely good ones. If you are not in a balanced, clear-headed state, log out and come back another time.
Talk to Someone You Trust
Many people who develop gambling problems wait far too long before talking about it. Speaking to a family member, friend, or professional counsellor — even about a mild concern — can be the difference between early intervention and a serious crisis. Gambling problems are not a moral failing; they are a behavioural health issue that responds well to early support.

Warning Signs of Problem Gambling

Problem gambling rarely announces itself loudly. It tends to develop gradually. These are the patterns most commonly associated with gambling that has become harmful. Recognising even one of these in your own behaviour is a meaningful signal.

  • Spending more money on gambling than you originally planned, on a regular basis
  • Gambling with money intended for essential expenses — rent, bills, groceries, or family commitments
  • Frequently chasing losses by depositing additional funds or increasing bet sizes after a loss
  • Feeling restless, irritable, or anxious when not gambling, or when trying to cut down
  • Hiding your gambling activity from family members, a partner, or friends
  • Borrowing money, using credit, or selling possessions to fund gambling
  • Gambling to escape stress, anxiety, loneliness, or other emotional difficulties
  • Neglecting work, studies, personal relationships, or health because of time spent gambling
  • Experiencing feelings of guilt or shame after a gambling session, but returning soon after
  • Believing that your next bet or session will be the one that turns things around

Ask Yourself These Questions

If you answer "yes" to two or more of the following questions, we encourage you to speak with a professional support resource. There is no judgement involved — self-awareness is the first step toward maintaining a healthy relationship with gambling.

Q1
Have you ever felt the need to gamble with more money in order to get the same level of excitement?
Q2
Have you ever gone back to gambling another day to try to win back money you had lost?
Q3
Have you ever lied to family members, a partner, or friends about the amount you gamble or what you spend on it?
Q4
Have you ever had to rely on others — family members, a partner, or credit — to help relieve a financial situation caused by gambling?
Q5
Have you ever skipped work, missed a family commitment, or neglected an important responsibility because of gambling?
Q6
When you are not gambling, do you find yourself frequently thinking about past gambling sessions or planning your next one?
Q7
Have you ever felt that gambling is something you cannot control, reduce, or stop — even when you want to?

These questions are adapted from widely used responsible gambling assessment frameworks. Two or more "yes" answers is a meaningful signal. Please consider reaching out to one of the support resources listed on this page.

🔞
21+ Age Policy — No Exceptions

Rajacuan enforces a minimum age of 21 for all account holders. This is a hard requirement — not an aspirational guideline. Every account undergoes age verification as part of the KYC process, and any account where the holder is found to be under 21 is permanently closed. All associated activity is reversed.

Keeping Young People Safe from Gambling Harm

Rajacuan does not accept registrations from individuals under the age of 21. We do not market our services to minors, and we do not accept deposits from payment methods where there is a reasonable suspicion that the account belongs to a minor.

We recognise that families share devices and that young people sometimes have access to the same computers, tablets, and phones used by adults in Malaysian households. If you share a device with younger family members, we strongly recommend the following:

  • Always log out of your Rajacuan account after each session — do not leave your account accessible on shared devices.
  • Use a strong, unique password that is not shared with or guessable by younger family members.
  • Enable two-factor authentication on your account for an additional layer of access security.
  • Consider using your device's built-in parental controls or family content filtering to block gambling-related websites on devices primarily used by children.
  • Have an open conversation with teenagers in your household about the realities of gambling — including the statistical likelihood of loss, the 21+ age requirement, and the importance of never gambling with money they cannot afford to lose.

If you become aware that a minor has registered on Rajacuan — or suspect that a young person in your household has done so — please contact us immediately at [email protected]. We will act promptly and confidentially.
